Scale Practice ("the App") is a flashcard-style practice tool for ABRSM Grades 6–8 scales and arpeggios. Your privacy is important to us.

Data We Collect

The App collects basic, anonymous usage analytics to help us understand how the app is used and improve it over time. This includes information such as which grades and session modes are used, and general app navigation events. No personally identifiable information is collected.

The only other data stored is your list of "tricky" scales, saved locally on your device. This data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

The App uses PostHog to collect usage analytics. PostHog may receive anonymised event data when you use the App. PostHog is a product analytics platform; you can read their privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy.

The App uses no advertising networks or other third-party SDKs.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained by PostHog in accordance with their data retention policy. Your tricky-scales list is stored on your device and can be cleared at any time by deleting the App.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Analytics data collected is anonymous and contains no personally identifiable information.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes in a future version of the App, the updated policy will be published here with a revised date.
